Revolutionary software for Social Workers to think well, work relationally and make a difference.

The problem at hand

  • Children’s social care demand is rising, with increasingly complex cases.
  • Poor outcomes for children at risk both inside and outside home.
  • Limited “thinking time” leads to rushed decisions, higher re-referrals and costly repeat interventions.
  • Social workers spend up to 80% of time on administrative tasks, not direct care.
  • Inefficient IT systems and paperwork create operational waste across the sector.

Annual costs in England exceed £15 billion.

Staggering 50% expense growth in last 5 years.

More than 2/3 is spent on late interventions.

Local authorities are under pressure to:

  • Improve quality of care.
  • Reduce re-referrals and children entering care.
  • Increase staff retention in a struggling workforce.

Current systems are compliance & recording tools, not thinking tools.

UK government & professional bodies (BASW, Ofsted) call for better tools to rebalance direct work vs desk work.

How PipsaFlow helps

  • Lightweight, intuitive platform: designed to support practice, not replace case management systems.
  • Captures and structures professional thinking without heavy data entry.
  • Provides guided reflective prompts for systemic and relational practice, including cultural context and identity.
  • Enables secure information sharing across teams, reducing duplication and fragmentation.
  • Keeps the child’s voice and lived experience central to assessment and planning.

Reflect360

Reflect360 is a social work tool that begins with standardised questions to create a basic family profile, drawing on genogram data where available. It offers reflective prompts, either AI-generated or randomly selected, to deepen understanding.

Formul8

Formul8 guides social workers through crafting clear, evidence-based formulations. It prompts users to summarise key information, explore patterns, identify needs, and consider risk and protective factors. Drawing on systemic and strengths-based thinking, it supports rich, complex analysis.

EcoGen

EcoGen is designed to help social workers and practitioners visualise family structures, relationships, support and threat systems using genograms and eco-maps. It removes the need for artistic skill or manual diagramming by offering a digital, intuitive tool for creating clear, beautiful and data-rich representations of family systems.

Case Consult

Case Consult supports rich and purposeful case discussion between two or more people. The tool systematically guides users through a structured discussion framework reducing the risk of conversational drift. And to prevent discussion by rote, the software uses unexpected questions to offer stimulative challenge to the conversation.
